Day 501-504: Disneyworld!

Hi All, Russell here.

Our Disney adventure consisted of all four Disney parks in four days. Tricia’s parents and her oldest brother’s family joined us. The 12 of us stayed in Old Key West in a suite. It was a nice crew to hang with. Not only that but Tricia’s cousin and her uncle joined us in the park a couple days so at points there were 17 of us eating meals together. Anyway, first things first we started at Hollywood Studios.

We pushed Tricia around in the wheelchair a lot!

Tricia- My favorite is when the storm troopers are just walking around messing with people.

I was laughing so hard that I missed filming when they were talking to Max.

Love catching up with my girl♥️

Time to ride Slinky Dog

I got stuck with Uncle D 🙂
Nana into the action at the Alien Toy Story ride

Tyler loved hanging with Max

Big hugs for Max

Sam was afraid of Chewy
… so he ran off
Max’s cousins hung all over him for 4 days

You never know what you will see at Disney
We were there to see the new Star Wars ride. It was really cool. Rey gave us a mission.

Poe’s X-wing

This ride was really immersive and realistic. Check out the hangar bay!

This looks so real!

Lines?? What happened to fast passes?

Getting close
The employees act like the First Order and make you stay in line.

Wow. The ride was so realistic.

Hard to believe these aren’t real

My nephew freaked out when Kylo Ren came after us
Some happy riders!

So as you can see, the ride was super realistic and cool. Great job Disney!

The whole area of the park is well done. Even the Coke bottles are in the spirit.

On another ride you drive the Millennium Falcon. Fun also, but not as cool as the first one.

We left Star Wars land and then did the older stuff at the park. Overall the additions are great and make the park worth visiting again.

We used the gondolas to get to dinner at Cape May. They didn’t break down!

Dinner was very good. Who doesn’t love a seafood buffet?

Day 2 was Epcot. The boys and I busted out the Incredibles t-shirts.

Lunch was at the German buffet. Very tasty:

Day 3 was the Magic Kingdom. I made sure to get the traditional castle shot:

The Magic Kingdom was crazy crowded. We used all of our fast passes before lunch and didn’t get another one until 6pm (Tricia really wanted to ride the Haunted Mansion). Everything had a 40-60 minute wait.

We tried to kill time by shopping but even that was shoulder to shoulder. We finally left at 6:30 because it was just too much.

Day 4 was Animal Kingdom. It was also very crowded, but we had a better agenda and navigated the day well.

It started at the Safari:

We had some fun on the drums as we went by.

For lunch we went to the Yak & Yeti. It was great! Check out our food!!

We rode some more rides and ended our day at the park with the Henry and Sam riding the Kalahari Rapids:

Tricia- Love my rose gold ears!

From there it was off to Disney Springs for shopping and snacking.

We got dessert at an edible cookie dough food truck. Interesting.

It was a long four days at Disney, but we weren’t done with theme parks yet! Tomorrow starts Part II of our Orlando adventure.
